Starting point

Once you have decided upon a venue you can get down to the details of your wedding reception: how you want it to look, what you will eat and drink and how you will be entertained. Start with a "Wish List" ( see wish list blog) of what you want to do and achieve and agree a plan of action with the venue that also include timings.


Plan the reception around what people would normally be doing at a specific time and replicate it so if it is a meal time, serve food. Creating a "Wedding Day Schedule" is the key to a smooth running wedding reception. It will leave you free to celebrate, confident in the knowledge that the day will run without a hitch.
