Beauty & the bride
As with your hair, it's never too early to start getting your skin in great condition. If you've got a good complexion, stick to what you do. If you cleanse, tone and moisture already, that's fine. But don't be seduced into buying loads of expensive stuff you don't usually use unless your skin needs a boost. Also don't try any new products in the weeks leading up to your wedding, because they could cause a reaction. Therefore, if you have a bad skin, get advice as early as possible. Choose the companies who have been out there some time and go to more than one counter. Listen to the advice they offer and decide if it makes sense to you. And of course, ask for samples.
Cleanse, tone and moisture every night and morning, without question! Use an eye cream, especially if you are a smoker or spend a lot of time at you computer. It's round the eyes you get more lines and wrinkles. If you can afford it, have facials, but not within three weeks before the wedding, because they can promote a breakout. If you can't afford a facial you can do your own by sitting under a towel over a bowl of steaming water. Also get your eyebrows in shape, but without going tweeze-happy. And don't forget hands, feet, elbows and knees, because they like a little extra moisturing too.
Most important of all, drink plenty of water to keep you and your skin well-hydrated. Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Go easy on the alcohol and get plenty of sleep. All this will do wonders for your skin all over!
