If bouquets, buttonholes and corsages are delivered with several hours or more to spare, store them somewhere cool and seek your florist's advice. Remember to send the buttonholes ahead of time to the ceremony venue, but keep the one for the bride's father together with the brise's bouquet (a common mishap is for this buttonhole to be sent along with the others to the ceremony, but the ushers think it is spare and give it away!).

The event
Delivery and storage at your venue needs to be agreed in advance. Your florist should liaise with the venue manager without you needing to be involved. A week or so before the wedding, give your florist a list of where all the flowers are to be delivered to on the day. If there is more than one delivery point specify exectly which flowers are to go where, as well as who will be tehre to accept them. Remember that churches and other venues are often locked, so know who to contact to arrange delivery times in advance (you may need to make such arrangements). Put someone in charge at each location (such as the best man for the buttonholes and the bride's mother for the bouquets). Give your florist a copy of your "Wedding Day Contact List". That list should include the florist's mobile number, in case of any unforeseen last minute changes in delivery arrangements.
