What to ask your florist

  • When choosing a florist, ask to see a portfolio of their wedding work and testimonialsfrom other couples.
  • Assess the quality of the flowers in the shop and the greeting you receivedupon arrival.
  • Will yours be the only wedding on the day? If not, who will be overseeing your flowers - is it the person you are liaising with?
  • Does the the florist know the venue(s) you have chosen, and if so what ideas do they have?
  • Can they visit the venue(s) with you?
  • Can they make up a table centrepiecefor you to see in advance free-of-charge?
  • Ask for an estimate that specifies exact quantities, sizes and blooms.
  • Does the final quaote include delivery (and to more than obne location if required), collection and VAT?
  • What are the florist's terms and how much is the deposit?
  • When do they need you to make the final floral decisions?
