Children's Entertainment for the Wedding

Children are as important guests as any other on the day of your wedding and it is important that they have as good a time as possible. You have to think of the best way for them to enjoy and remember the day as something fun.

Children don't need much to have a good time, but if they get bored they won't allow their parents enjoy themselves.  They have a different concept of fun to us and you have to give each one what they need.

If you are expecting a lot of children at your wedding, then what better than to hire the service of a children's entertainer?  You can choose the one that will be best for you or the one that you know they'll like most.

  • Classic clowns with their jokes and costumes usually delight the youngest.
  • If your child audience is older, then a magician may be the solution.
  • All children love stories, so why not a story teller or some marionettes?  They'll enjoy being told a story and participating through games or questions.
  • A circus workshop where they can learn to walk on stilts, juggle, learn a magic trick or ride a unicycle could be fun and have them entertained for a good while.
  • A treasure hunt or an obstacle course looking for clues for a prize is entertaining and appropriate for all ages.
  • There is also the possibility of hiring a bouncy castle where they can jump and jump until they are exhausted.
  • If yours is going to be a lowcost wedding, then set up an area and decorate it with stories to read, colouring books, sketch pads, colours, balls, rings or constructions so that they can be happy and have a good time amongst themselves without the need to hire anyone.
