Hair or make-up first?

Should you apply your make-up before having your hair styled or vice-versa? The experts disagree on the answer! The majority, however, favoured make-up last. If you are in the salon they will have decided for you. At home, if you have a hairdresser and make-up artist they'll have to liaise and make it work, but don't get involved if they can't agree. Then just make the decision for them.

If you have one and not the other you are probably best to take the advice of the professional who is with you, because they'll know how they like to work. If you think you'll get hot and bothered under the heat of the hair dryer, electric rollers or straigthening irons then opt for your make-up last, but don't apply any hair-fixing sprays until after your make-up is on.
